"It's Hard Being a Princess"
Has there ever been a time when I didn't get what I want?
No.
Even when I compromise...let go of a dream...the dream still comes true.
Sometimes, I do have to put in a little work, but not too much. Maybe a whine, and even a croccodile tear. But never does a dream go unfulfilled.
This is not arrogance, but truth...and I do not take these blessings for granted.
I've had my dream wedding...TWICE. Once at the birthplace of a significant part of me, and then at the top of the world. Even though the weather fought to deny me, the clouds parted briefly for my wedding ceremony.
The honeymoon hotel room was such that my new husband began apologizing even before I saw the room. The helpful bellboy took us to 3 different rooms before I stopped whining. The last room was almost perfect. No jaccuzzi, but it was all good...sitting area, wet bar, lots of space, and a table to have 24 hour roomservice.
At last count, for my wedding weekend I wanted and received:
Perfect Man
Perfect Dress
Perfect Music
Perfect View
Perfect Reception
Perfect Honeymoon
Enough money to do it all
People go out of their way to give me what I want.
I am always grateful.
