jumping off bridges isnt always suicide...
today was fun. for once. Catrice spent the night last night and we (my family, not including my dad, and my brothers friends family and their relatives) all went to this river today. its near a camp ground and in order to get to the camp ground you have to cross this bridge that goes over the river. and the river below the bridge is about 18 ft deep, so you can pretty much jump off the bridge and be fine. its great, even tho i didnt jump. im too chicken. but thats fine. catrice and i just kinda messed around, climbing around on rocks and such. my brother and his friends swung into the river on this rope that was hanging from the bridge. i got some pics of that. its pretty cool. so i wore my shoes into the river when i was swimming cuz i didnt want to hurt my feet but they ended up being like anchors to my feet and almost sinking me when i was crossing the river. it was kinda scary for awhile and then i just chucked them across back to where all our stuff was and left them there to dry. i get the feeling theyll never be the same. or completley dry cuz they were in the sun for a couple hours and theyre pretty wet still. i squeeze them and water comes out. its gross. mm yes. but catrice and i got some pretty nice tans. excellent. i think the only bad part of today, was the middle aged creepy men hitting on us and offering us beer and sunflower seeds. and even that wasnt so bad cuz we just swam away. they almost pushed us off the bridge tho. bleh. suprisingly enough quite a few creepy middle aged men hit on us today. actually thats not too suprising considering they were middle aged and creepy and most likely desperate for young blood. oh gross.
ANYWAYS...catrice and i have a plan for this lovely campground. we want to get some friends together and next summer take a camping trip down to that river (jones river if im not mistaken) and camp for a weekend or something. i think itd be fuckin cool cuz we could hang out by the river for the day and then go back and make a fire and do other stuff when it starts getting dark. the only downside of that plan, is theres no showers. so wed be stinky. but i think wed just bring along a lot of deoderant and get used to eachothers stench. i can ignore shit like that. especially mine. but ya, thats the plan. i think itd be fun.
