I'm going to post this while it's still fresh in my mind (and hopefully it remains so, because I woul d so watch that again). Tonight I saw "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix"at the Essex Theatre. We got there like three hours early and were amongst the first twenty in line. Three hours meant excessive money splurging on junk food and my winning a prize that I'm going to give someone ;-)
HOWEVER THAT'S soooo BESIDE THE POINT!!!!
People were restless in line and they let us in. One burly man was dressed up as Hagrid and gave his prop (a stick) quite the shake when he walked in (to our applause). Then Brandi and her friend Megan proceeded to make fun of the weird 14 year olds in front of us (they were quiet through the movie).
Then IT began. For the 150 minutes it played, the movie was magical! The spells and the special effects (heck, they made Grimmold Place pop out in the coolest way) and the duel between Voldemort, Harry, and Dumbledore was so intense that it felt like I was actually holding the wand! Some kid was like noooo (in serious grief), when Sirius fell to Bellatrix's Avada Kedavra. Daniel Radcliffe played the part perfectly, Umbridge's evil intentions were totally sold, and it was just mind blowing.
And Tonks hair changed color :)
