Okay the best metaphor for my life right now is that of an illusionist weaving their magic. through misdirection and trickery they manage to present you with daring and impressive magic. This is my life, watch my magical and impressive life as I show you that I have a plan and everything is completely under control. NO! Don't look over there! Look at the impressive spectacle in front of you! ooo, shiny...NO! Don't look over there, if you do the magic will reveal itself as none other than a complete sham and everything will unravel. End metaphor.
Did I mention I was in L.A. right now? yes, that's right I'm in L.A. for some job interviews with people who think I live here. I have to go home Saturday night. What will I do if people want second interviews? What will I do if I actually get a job and have to find a way to move from Portland to LA in less than a weekend? NO! Don't look at that! I have it all figured out and everything will be fine.
