[read at your risk.]First of all, I loooooooooooooove the ending song, Koi wo Shiranai Kimi e by NEWS. It suits the drama well. When I first heard it, I just can't because Tego's voice is <3. And this is like the first song they released that I like since they continued as a 4-person group. I also like the PV. The opening songs, Love Trip by AKB48 is also good. I'm surprised, there's no AKB member in this drama, right? I was also surprised that they chose a NEWS song for this drama when Fuma was the MC. But it's fine, I guess. Because I like NEWS songs more than Sexy Zone's. Before I get distracted, about the drama. It was good. I was surprised that it only have 5 episodes at first, but when I watched it, I think it's just right. No stretching of the storyline. Before I watched this, I've been seeing a lot of reviews that the first episode was confusing but the whole series was good. I agree with that. I almost didn't watch it because I didn't get what was happening. It's all jumbled, the first episode. Until I watched episode 2. I was also surprised that the story was different. I only just wastched the 2006 anime. But upon searching, this was adapted from the original story, while the 2006 anime and the live action movie that was based on that anime were loosely adapted from the novel. The protagonist in the anime was the nephew of the protagonist in the novel and this drama. And because it only has 5 episodes, I spent watching episodes 2-5 squeeling like a little kid, and get wasves of FEELS once the ending song played (Goro!!!!). I only have one complaint about the story, how the last episode turned out to be a little bleak that the first four episodes. I think they overdid the "drama" which they didn't do in the previous episodes. The acting was also good. This is the first time I've seen Takeuchi Ryoma, second time for Kikuchi Fuma (the first was Scrap Teacher and he's so tiny there), and second time for Kuroshima Yuina (first was in Gomen ne Seishun and I also liked her there, and I just realized she kinda looks like Nino, they could play as brother and sister or father and daughter haha). I like how the characters were not overreacting in certain scenes. When they anounced this drama before this drama season started, I already decided that I'm going to watch it. But Shige was here, and I really really really don't like Shige. I only watched one Shige drama, and the reason was he removed his shirt there and his abs was <3. But that's it. haha But I enjoyed him dancing the Para Para Dance though. But that's it. I still don't like him. XD
