I was listening to these crazy pop songs last night and these lyrics are so funny compared to the deep "dashboard" ones that we usually see today...

Among the many muted faces
You try to find me in the spaces
You're drawn to my song
You only move to keep from sinking
You close your eyes as if you're thinking
Afraid all along
That in my eyes you're so revealing
you'll find what you're needing

Nothing but pennies in my pocket
Nothing but faith to keep me warm
Well, baby, then I would be broke without it
Tell me, how much for your love
Slip my heart in your back pocket
All I got to keep you warm
So baby don’t leave me here without it
Tell me, how much for your love             Mandy Moore - In My Pocket

I've been working real hard
For just one reason
I've been waiting all year
For just one season
The season that reminds me of palm trees
The smell, the ocean breeze
And the sense of being free
Barbecues and pool parties
What I call fun

Hanging with the honey's
And enjoying the sun
Spendin' 4 hours just to clean the Benz
So you can cruise down the
boulevard with your friends                        Aaron Carter - Summertime

The summer air was soft and warm
The feeling right, the Paris night
Did it's best to please us
And strolling down the Elysee
We had a drink in each cafe
And you
You talked of politics, philosophy and I
Smiled like Mona Lisa
We had our chance
It was a fine and true romance                   A-Teens - Our Slammin Summer

Enjoy, and thankyou San Diego, for stopping by.
