I figured out where McGowan got all of her odd Leonardo theories, including the "remember John" gesture from. I'm currently reading this book about Mary Magdalene by Lynn Picknet, and the stuff in there is almost word for word what she put in the book. So far, no evidence has been raised for any of his ideas in the book either. I'll have to flip through his bibliography and figure out if it's what the recons would call a "UPG" (aka he pulled it out of his ass) or something he actually got from research.
