[He hesitates - old habits die hard - before pointing the paintbrush across the room.]

[After hearing how Virginia fared at the party, it would probably be a good idea to give her a few of these too. It's no trouble to make a few more, but conferring her chakra to them will be the difficult part. Can civilians manage chakra? He isn't so sure.]

[He gestures to his workspace; the tin of gunpowder, the inkwell, the paintbrush, and the strips of paper.]

Those of us who did survive should be wary, of spies and of retribution. These are called exploding tags, and are widely used where I am from.
