Looking up
The kitties are doing much, much better. No bad poops since Monday. They came out of quarantine last night and this is a happy thing. Walker has been hanging out with me in my office most of the morning.
Walker does have an elevated white blood cell count so he is now on antibiotics. He's also on probiotics to try to keep his digestive tract in good shape.
We are supposed to be going to London for a week next Saturday, the 14th. At this point I still can't say whether we're going or not. We'll have to see how the kitties are doing around the middle of next week.
The blood test to look for mast cells (associated with the tumour near his ear) in Walker's blood came back negative. This doesn't mean that there is definitely no other tumour, but is an indicator toward that conclusion. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
Steve has been working absolutely crazy hours lately, but his deadline is tomorrow so I should get him back this weekend. Yay!!! I will say though that when Walker got sick and I was so scared, Steve left work and came home to be with us. That was very good of him.
Now if it would just stop raining, that would be nice. I think I might go into town and get Thai for lunch.
