We're off to Vegas this afternoon, just for the weekend. Steve needs to get away from work. I'm really excited.
Marcy and Jeff really came through for us on kitty care. Mike was set up to do it, but then remembered that he and Valerie are going to Portland to see her mom this weekend. Tania and Mark are also out of town this weekend and they are our other usual kitty care people. It's Marcy's birthday party this weekend, and Grauntie and Gruncle are in town (Jeff's aunt and uncle), but Marcy said of course they would take care of the cats. How wonderful of them!
Kate is going to do Saturday night so Marcy can enjoy her party without worrying about kitty care.
Funny, on my birthday weekend, Marcy and Jeff went to Vegas and we watched their kids, except for Saturday night. There's a strange symmetry there. :-)
