Yay tooth!
My tooth seems to be okay! Yay!
We curled for the first time this year last night. It was fun, and neither of us fell down. The ice was fast! Hopefully it will stay that way. I was kicking a full kick and holding on to the hog line and it was easily bumper weight. That is FAST. I'll have to kick lightly if this keeps up.
Leslie is on our Sunday team. I'm glad to play with her again and to get her out of the house on Sundays. It was a bit strange last night though, with Steve as our skip. When I played with Leslie last, Ben was our skip. :-(
We also have a second year curler, Ethan, at second. He's a really nice guy and is pretty darned good for a second year. I think he will learn a lot playing with us, and in Sunday league in general. He's always thinking about what's going on.
It's pretty weird not to be curling tonight though. I've played Monday league for the last nine years or so. Hopefully I'll get lots of calls to sub.
