here go the dreams
I had a really strange dream last night. The few people I told it to were given the short version, but I may as well stretch it out here. I mean it's not like it's a big secret as far as I'm concerned.
So I'm with my friends at a theme park. Not one that really exists, but since this is dream world it doesn't have to. The group's too big for one ride, and has to be separated. I get stuck with a couple. Joy. It's cuz the girl (yes, I know who she was, but I'll keep that anonymous for my own reasons) said she didn't want me to have to be alone. Even in the dream I was thinking it was because she didn't want to be stuck with her boyfriend (wow I'm such a pessimist). Somehow, by the time I've made it through the line (which oddly enough wasn't exactly a line and more like a ride itself, we're kind of lifted via ski lift-type chairs) the people I'm with change. I only really notice one of them, who I don't recognize. In the dream I know her, but I have no idea who she represents of people I actually know.
See this part is where I figure out what's going on. It's like watching a movie and you don't know what's next. I was watching myself and saw me getting more and more nervous as the line came nearer to the end. Then I saw why. I knew it was a water ride. And I mean, full on water ride. Like the log ride or splash mountain, except the log was under water. Not fully, everyone was out of the water from their waist up. I stopped at the edge where people had to swim to the log to sit in it. The ride wouldn't start because I wouldn't get in. So I looked up at the girl I mentioned before (who I don't really know) and I said "I'm sorry guys, but I...I don't think I can do this." The girl looked really concerned and swam over to me. She then proceeds to put her hands on my shoulders, yank me off the edge, and dunk me under the water for a few seconds. I came back up and my senses began to come back to me. Right away she (somewhat sternly) says to me:
"The worst that could possibly happen to you is over. NOW GET ON THE RIDE!"
So...I'm inclined to think that all means something. Anyone else see an obvious meaning? I think I know what it's about, but...yeah I like to check.
