I did the Grouse Grind!
This challenge is at Grouse Mountain, "the peak of Vancouver", one of the tallest mountains just north of the city. 2.9 km climb, 853 m vertical gain, 2830 steps. That makes it more of a climb than Mont Tremblant in Quebec (after digging through the Internet so not 100.0% sure), and the CN Tower climb. Doing Tremblant felt easier though, because there weren't actual steps, the incline was less steep, and my friends kept sitting down for breaks (I refused to). After that, the inside joke that I "can run up mountains" formed... I think my cardio is just really good because it's my main focus. The legs are the harder part, but with some caffeine and stretching along the way, it was alllll good. What an amazing way to spend my last weekend here!
I felt SO good all day afterwards (and still do!) Yay endorphins and sunshine.
