So, it's official, my family has a problem....we're addicted to old cars. Our house is looking kinda like a junk yard at the moment, our collection currently stands with a 70 Chevelle, 70 El Camino, 66 Mustang, 67 Dart, 70 Caprice and a 70 Impala and were always looking to add to the collection. My brother is in the process of trying to drag a 69 Charger in and I just found a new interest as well to haul home. We were introduced Thursday. He goes by the name of 64 Cadillac.
Its black, the paint is faded but it looks cool like that. We couldnt crank it or open the doors cause the guy wasnt home, but it has a 429 and the interior looked alright, its black and white. My dad told me that it probably has close 400 hp, oh----my-----god, but it has alot of weight to haul. The body looked perfect, it was missing the fender skirts though, but thats not too noticeable and can be put back on. But the most important thing to me, what took the cake was the fact that it has something that Ive always wanted on a car........suicide doors!!!! I almost fell over when I found out, I hafta have that car. So thats my final motivation for me to get a job. I think the guy will sell it for 2500. You guys have gotta see it, it makes me think gangster....like Travis Barker, Tim Armstrong or Jesse James style with a death vibe to it. Its so freakin huge though, its gonna eat me alive, that might be a problem. But dont get me wrong, my Mustang is and will forever be my numero uno love.
I spent yesterday hanging out with Christal, good times with her oh so humorous family. I saw Ryan at Kroger, I might be going with him this weekend or next to Nashville to see Zach, doubtful though. I saw Lloyd for the first time in ages at Target, good stuff. Today me, Christal and my brother went to my cousins basketball game and some other places around town, I got the new Phantom Planet cd, good stuff. We went to Year One b/c I wanted to see how far away it is cause I was thinking about working there, but its like an hour away, so I dunno. Tomorrow is of course the Super Bowl which is always enjoyed at our house ::cough:: go panthers! ::cough::
I got to talk to Zach on the phone Thursday and that went great, we talked shit about Don. Juan is my hero.
