Miles from where you are...
Has anyone out there ever flown on British Airways? I'm stressing a little because I found out they only allow one carry-on bag in my seating class, and I was hoping to carry on a duffel bag and my laptop... checking my laptop kinda worries me, because it might get tossed around. So, do any of you know if they rigidly enforce the bag limits?
Anyway, I COULD technically check the laptop on the flight *to* London, but on the way back I'm guessing I will have an extra bag with souvenirs and things, meaning I'd then be over my 2 checked bags limit as well. Damnit.
There's no way I'm going to be able to cram my laptop into my suitcase either :-P I am a girl, after all, and travelling for five weeks.
I guess if worst comes to worst I can pay an "excess baggage" fee to bring all my stuff on the way back, but that can be close to $150... maybe I could ship my souvenirs home? Ugh.
Any informed input would be appreciated.
