Mmm, Narae
Yup, my Narae is here, finally. She got here yesterday around 4pm. I had no idea it would end up taking so long, but it's all good. She was definitely worth the wait.
I still don't know what to name her. Seriously, I have no idea. I thought Sophie before she got here, but I dunno. She doesn't look like a Sophie. Kinda like a Carrie, or a Kristin or something. But I'm not big on those names, so I have No idea what to name her. Also, she needs a different wig. Not that the fur wig is bad, but it Really doesn't suit her. Plus the thing sheds Everywhere...
So, yeah, after the first twenty minutes of having her I spend about 4 hours working on a face up. The eyebrows gave me hell, her head is So small compared to other MSDs, especially Volks (which is why I'm having a wig problem, the wigs I had for my Volks MSD were WAY too big for her). It was almost like painting eyebrows on a 27cm Dollfie. By the time I got them the shape I want, and in the right position, I said Fuck it and didn't bother with making them look more realistic. But, it works for her.
Other than that the face up came out Gorgeous, I think. I think it's the head mold or something, 'cause had I done the same things on my old Volks doll, it woulda came out crappy. But the Narae head mold just took to the paint so well, especially the eyeshadow. It's so light, but it still looks so beautiful. And the lips, ugh, she has Amazingly beautiful lips. They're bigger than you'd think, especially after trying to tackle the eyebrows. But yeah, she's just so lifelike and beautiful I can't stop looking at her. Now if only I had some wigs and clothes that fit. Oh yeah, did I mention most of the clothes don't fit? Yeah. Now I have to buy a new wardrobe for her. I can feel the money just being torn from my wallet as I speak...

Pre-face up. This was after she was coated. And by the way, if anyone is iffy about Testors, I Totally recommend it. I like it better than MSC, at least the feel of it anyway. Though, that could just be the difference between Narin resin and Volks Resin. But either way, it's just as good as MSC.

And then the camera turned into a nub and was like "No room LOLZ N00blar..." so I had to stop taking photos. But, yeah, she's fucking gorgeous. I just wish I could give her a name, ARG. Any help with that would be greatly appreciated.
