gakulove for pointing this out: at 18:56, when Kame's about to throw his dart, Maru clears his throat and distracts our little turtle. When he says "urusay!" to Maru, notice how Jin laughs out loud while nodding at Kame and now we wonder WHY IN THE WORLD IS JINJIN nodding. Lmao!

Episode 8: Crystal Kay
Okay, Kame’s fangirling in this episode so we have to forgive him a bit. Bear this fact in mind, when I say that as the episode begins, a preview of ‘what’s to come’ pops up and there, we’ll see a clip of Jin telling CK, “Let’s get married” with the weirdest face ever. It’s just beyond me to see where he’s really looking. Though if we use our AKame spectacles, we could come to think that he’s purposely doing that to take CK away from his Kame. Lol. Jealous much that you can’t accept that Kame’s fangirling to someone other than you, jinjin?
I think Kame’s a tad bit too distracted in this episode for us to catch some more AKame moments. Though all throughout the episode, try watching JinJin and Kame’s expressions because they both seem to be in a very good mood that day (as compared to episode 60-which I will discuss when I get there).
Episode 9: Miki Maya
I don’t think I’ll ever stop wondering whether they’re snagging glances at each other whenever the camera pans to their faces and they’re caught looking a further left or a further right from the guest… specially when ‘further left’ (Kame) and ‘further right’ (JinJin) ain’t really talking at the time. Lol!
The first AKame moment I noticed here begins at 06:15 time mark when they all have to try wearing a mustache. You have to be patient here, as well as very careful in listening to the voices because it’s a tad bit hard to understand who’s talking when. Watch out at 06:26 when you will hear Maru’s voice telling Kame how the mustache suits him. See Kame’s face? He hardly reacts to the comments up until you hear Jin say something in the lines of “It looks good on you” and his face/eyes turns to JinJin’s side then Kame suddenly says: “This puts me in a very good mood.”

Come on, if that’s not an implied AKame moment, I don’t know what is.
(I just have to say though, Ueda seriously took home the bacon on this one… that mustache seriously looked good on him!)
Next one. God, I think this is the quickest AKame moment ever and I swear, I had my mouth hanging when I first noticed it, had to rewind a bit and watch it again. Thus, confirming that at 08:14 bit (I prefer you start at 08:04 and stick your eyes to JinJin the moment he appears on cam), when for some odd reasons, he didn’t look at Miki Maya nor Taguchi who’s making the joke at the time. He looked somewhere along the lines of Kame who’s dense enough not to notice anything. *cough cough*
I’ll be blunt about this. Forward to 14:38 and look at JinJin’s expression when Kame was talking about his Valentine’s day. Makes you think: memories of Valentine’s with Kame flashing in your mind, Jinjin?
Care to see a jealous JinJin? Forward a bit to 20:39 when Miki Maya talks about hwo she wants Kame to be her boyfriend. Get the whole gist of what she’s saying, then when you arrive at 21:00, see the sudden change in facial expression of our dear Jinjin. Hmm. Me thinks he doesn’t like the topic of Kame being a ‘boyfriend’ to someone else very much.
Let me just say, this is the first episode where I saw all six of them laugh so hard so many times… and that includes Kame’s nastiest expression while laughing and JinJin’s (already) rare laughs and smiles since he’s become a very moody JinJin once he and Kame have drifted apart.
So that’s it for now. I’ve seen quite a lot of AKame moments in the next few episodes so I think I’m going to have to make a separate entry on that soon. I’ll be upping the reviews after this so in any case you’ll be wanting some re-reading of the fics, maybe you could try my fic recs.
