You don't have to. I'm not going to return to mine. But you shouldn't have to because of him. It's giving him too much of an advantage in allowing him to inflict his will on others, including you. Doing it to deprive him of your power is one thing, but he doesn't deserve his power over you.

I can't blame you. But he's also not worth throwing your life away for. If you did, you would have a chance to do something more worthwhile than kill him and just as harmful. You could discredit him. That was probably part of the reason he altered your memory.
