2. Appropos of nothing, I was considering Veidt and Rorschach the other day and thinking, 'why is purple regarded as a gay color?' Then I remembered that it was likely due to lavender. Someone give me a cigar.
3. I Feel Better is my most favorite music video ever. I like it even more than the video for Golden Prize, and that had facepaint and spangly loincloths and a wind machine.

Either Hollis or Dan. Although it took me ages to notice that Dan was likely Jewish. I fail.

The Comedian. I like him when some authors write him, but otherwise I'm pretty uninterested in the guy.

1. ALMOST ALL OF THE PEOPLE I'VE ENCOUNTERED HAVE BEEN SO NICE. HOLY SHIT.
2. There really isn't much drama. Touch wood, hopefully it'll stay that way.
3. The fandom bicycle is a frumpy middle-aged nerd with a paunch.
4. People seem to be pretty accepting of Rule 63/genderswap AU. Actually, people seem to be pretty accepting of stuff in general.
5. The epic kinkmeme. Admittedly, I don't visit it as much as I should, but... I just like having it there.
And 5 that suck:
1. People who whitewash the numerous flaws of Adrian and Rorschach.
2. Laurie hate.
3. The fandom has spoiled me for all other fandoms.

Okay, I have a few. Some of them aren't very deep or dark, though:
1. Writing Rorschach taught me that a lot of my attitudes towards mental illness are pretty callous and fucked up.
2. I sometimes worry that I write Rorschach with too many of my own issues, but ehhhhh, whatever.
3. I have FAR TOO MUCH FUN writing an antisexual character. I don't know. I'd hate to think of myself as an antisexual person, but I'm rather ambivalent towards sex and I see it as a neutral thing rather than something that is inherently good. And sometimes I just want to rebel against the way that sex is treated as a universal panacea.
4. Chubby Dan > thin Dan. Admittedly, that's a bit of an open secret.
