READYSETGLO ! STEVE AOKI X THE COBRASNAKE.
Met up with jiahao at taka, followed by jul & jwn. Took a brief bus ride down to zouk & surprise surprise! A whole lot of human beings are alr there. I wore a plain see-through tee with black high waist skirt + silver flats. I didn't wna wear heels because they're new and my legs would prolly break. (Then i realized, the silver shoes were new too).
Ah, but despite the crowd, we went in pretty fast because what you'd expect when we reached there at like what, 9pm? hahaha who the hell starts queuing outside zouk at 9pm! Ok us because we're kiasu. I alr said we'll be kiasu(s) that day.
So after being stamped/choped, we wandered around and got separate with jiahao's clique. In the club, i saw a whole lot of my friends. So we mingled here and there. Danced with le en and friends for quite some time before squeezing all the way to the front when steve aoki finally appeared at nearly 2am. It was fking chaotic, people were crazily high, jumping & screaming and stepping all over us. I've never hit so many fkers in my life before. I thus, declare that, i am seriously MORE & MORE racist since that day.
Jul stood there letting ppl trample over her (ok not that bad) but you get the picture. She stood amidst the crowd of tall humongous people and i could see that shes nearly crying. After a while, jwn and her decided to make their way out of the crowd. So it's me and huihui there, trying our best to stand properly even. Alot of people are taller and bigger than we are and esp the caucasians, they push you around as if you're a mouse because they are so huge they're hovering over you. I'm not so glad that i'm 160 anymore. I shld be like what 175 but then i'll hate myself. I dont fancy being esp tall as a female (unless i could be a runway model) haha.
So after being pushed around like an idiot despite our strong will & might (we tried hard to survive by pushing back and all), we gave up and waddled our way out too, to catch a breather. Danced at the top sector and left for the prata place and back to zouk again & danced till 4am then back home. And you'd think ok so you had a goodnight's rest after a chaotic night. NO! I stayed awake till 7am because my legs were sore and aching so badly. At 12pm, huiling woke me up after calling a few times which i chose to ignore but finally relented and picked up. I was dead beat but woke up anyway to prepare and then dom drove to my place and pick me and huiling to jurong - jingle's baby's first month celebration.
We were late and i managed to carry her baby boy & chatted for a while. While we were at jingle's LOH JIAHAO WAS AT THE YARDSALE HAPPILY TAKING PICS WITH STEVE AOKI & MARK (the cobrasnake) he even had his signature on his tee and he appeared in alot of the pics mark took zomggg kill me please. I spotted jwn in the club's pics but i was right infront of him but they didn't capture me why? BECAUSE I AM FREAKING 160. Thats when i wna be tall again. Can see a little of my hair i guess but huihui & jul are 152? so they're not seen at all HAHAHA IM SO MEAN. Its just saddening la, but it's jingle's baby's first month (wth do you call that? im so tired of typing 'jingle's baby's first month' over and over) so must give face and besides, i wna see her. So yeah, to sum it up, im gna wait for next year for them to come again. Overall, the party was SUPER RAD!! Wicked beats and songs minus those few mambo-like songs, idk what's with that suddenly. But i had fun! Sorry for the super long post. Ok im out. (:
