So yesterday was a treatment day. I go every two weeks, but I only see a doc every four weeks. Lately it has been Melanie, a former chemo nurse turned physician's assistant, instead of Dr. S himself, which is actually a good thing. She's more forthcoming with information than Dr. S!
Also, yesterday she asked if I'd heard about their new chemo treatment. I said I hadn't, so she left the room and returned with...
...one of these!

She has a new Bichon Frise puppy, which looked a lot like the one in the picture, only much more wriggly and adorable. His name is -- you knew it -- Chemo. :) Sooo cute, and he wriggled all over and teethed on my fingers for a few minutes.
Now that's good therapy.
In other news, Melanie said my CT scan looked good, everything stable. The only issues were an enlarged spleen, the ascites fluid, and some little kidney stones, all of which they already knew about.
