Wow... it's be awhile.
I've just realized... I haven't been writing much lately. So I've decided to give those that care a little update.
Mike and I are doing good, though we're just a little stressed about money. However, I love the little pest... he's always sticking his hand in his butt and shoving it in my face. If that isn't love then I don't know what is! heh heh, Bugger! Hopefully one of these days we'll be able to afford our own place, though that won't be for quite awhile. Ah well.
In other news, We've had to give one of our bunnies away... Kermie (aka-Kermit) who was the Black and White one... had to go. Unfortunately when we got 2 bunnies we got a boy and a girl...and once they started maturing, they did what bunnies do best... HUMP! Kermie was getting pretty agressive though, biting Piggy to get her to accept him... to the point he was ripping off fur. So bye bye to Kermie. Piggy seems much happier now that she isn't getting humped 24/7 though I'm sure she is a little lonely in her cage by herself. We try to make up for it with lots of free time out of the cage and lots of love from us.
Other than that, working at The Love Boutique isn't as glamourous as I once thought it would be... our location is so slow, so it gets pretty boring. Also, since I'm only working 3 days a week I'm broke, so I can't even afford to buy anything even when I get 25% off. Ah well. I'm finished there Tuesday night.
I head back to Yellowknife this Friday! YAY! It will be nice to have some friends again! Mike has decided to come up with me for the summer so that we wouldn't have to be apart... hopefully he can find a job quickly up there... as we're still paying rent down here and we both have some nice debt to pay off. But since he'll be up there I can stay for the whole summer and make even more $$ which is good.
Then it's busy doing the canoeing thing for another summer! :) I get in to YK Friday night and leave Saturday morning for the staff canoe trip... we get back sunday night ans then head out on the first trip of the season Monday morning... busy busy. I can't wait. I love being out on the lake! I'm a bit scared because I'm pretty out of shape (maybe more than normal) but I should do ok... I usually do!
When I get back from Yellowknife at the end of August hopefully I'll be able to find a better job. Part time probably since I've applied to take Massage Therapy at Grant McEwan in the fall. :) I haven't been accepted yet, but I'm optimistic. Hopefully I'll get some nice student loans from the NWT to help out as well. Cross your fingers for me!
Anyways I work in 7 hours so I should try and sleep. Night!
