Nano, Life and Fortuna's Garden
Well its been about a lifetime since I posted in here but life has been busy.
I absolutely love my new life here. I have a decent job that I don't hate. I have amazing roommates, 2 absolutely wonderful dogs and a gorgeous home. Life is the polar opposite of what it was 8 months ago.
My roommate Tony and I have been working hard on a new group of websites. Fortuna's Garden, and Fortuna's Archive. Basically we were looking for a website that was more geared to original fiction and for authors trying to get published. We found some that were good but just way too huge (very intimidating to post) as well as others that just had no member participation. But we never really found what we wanted. So together we created Fortuna's. There is a very tiny member base right now but we are really hoping that we can build it up before Nano. We have a whole section of the forum dedicated to Nano. I will include the links at the bottom of this post if you want to check us out. But please just remember we are new and are open to suggestions and comments!
Speaking of Nano, I am torn between two stories to write this year. Mandi's first story (Mandi is a character from a book that Tony and I co authored a few months ago - which is stuck in the 3rd draft stage and we are trying to edit again) Mandi in our book is this fun, career-driven catty, opportunistic, almost alcoholic woman in NYC. She along with her bff Fab are at the core of the group of friends that our novel centers on. But my Mandi story takes place 7 years later and has brought about a lot of changes for my Prada- loving, ambitious bitch.
But I also had a great idea for .... dammit... i just had another really good idea... ok so I have 3 stories to chose from now. lol Oh now I have to head off to do a little planning for my newest idea.
