Screams of Despair that Stain the Ice

My afternoon has brought me naught but the sound of the beast. This loathsome entity we call the 'internet' has attempted to thwart my cd-making efforts at every opportunity. in the end I have vanquished my foe and can now rejoice as the shattering falsettos and thrashing guitars come together to bequeath upon my ears the glorious music of the gods. I shall now unleash this onslaught, spreading the guerdon amongst those worthy and watching the weak run for the hills, run for their lives.

What a dork.

I get to go home tonight. That means taking the night bus - never fun. At least I've got Holly convinced to take the bus with me (I hope). So I have that one ray of hope in the otherwise dark and gloomy prospect of an all night bus trip, yet the night bus is still a more inviting option that spending another night in Kelowna. Aside from the one night of drunken hooliganism, what a boring town. I've spent the majority of my time here with internet chat programs and phoning Emily. Good thing I came to visit the family. I did, however, get a large jar of Nutella for my birthday. And a blender, but the Nutella is more exciting. Before leaving tonight I am off to my Fathers to be fed some more, and receive more in the way of early birthday gifts, so I cannot complain there, but I want to go home sooner than later. Sigh.

I think I might have a fear of raccoons. Not like running away or unable to be near them, they just give me chills when they look at me funny.
