Writer's Block: Cute Meet
My parents aren't together but this story is fucking ridiculous and I swear its true.
my mom was is a Nurse Practitioner, and she worked in a dialysis clinic in Chicago, and my dad was the architect in charge of remodeling the clinic.
My mom told me that as she was being introduced to my dad, she noticed behind him that one of her patients had caught on fire [in the early 80's people could smoke indoors & bring their own blankets while they were waiting to be put on dialysis]
the patient had fallen asleep smoking a cigarette and her ratty blanket had caught on fire.
My mom had one of the other nurses distract my dad while she ran over and put out the fire.
