A number of things; it depends on the day of the week, I suppose. My purpose here is both vague and minor at this time. I think that the only thing that can be said to have a definite 'goal' is my ongoing attempt to figure out how the City works.

That's a good question; I wonder if others ever feel that there's little point to living when one is dead? It can be a tough feeling to overcome sometimes.

Only a little. It is admittedly easy to lose hope here.

There is no hope of that; I cannot exist outside the City.

But sometimes it's hard to remember that anything you do has a point to it, when faced with the knowledge that everyone here will eventually leave and few will remember you once they do.
