Why do I keep using AIM on this computer?

What exactly is wrong? Crashing? Is the computer ok with everything except for AIM? Perhaps you could cheat by using Trillian or GAIM to access AIM instead.

A large percentage of the time I try to use it, it will like, disconnect and not respond, and sometimes it stops my computer's internet connection from working for a while.
