An interesting conversation
I have a very interesting conversation through IM today about being poly and the difference between a triad and a quad. This persons take was she could never just be a third, because she would feel to left out, so that she thought the perfect situation was a quad, with 2 couples. It was very good as well as enlightening to get someone else's opinion.
My thoughts are both situations are similiar. I dont think a third person would feel as left out as some people think. As well as a quad, when all else fails, the guys can hang out, the girls can hang out, the couples can hang out together as well as apart.
But in either case, no matter how I look it at I always see more pro's then con's but that is just me. At some time in the future I will go mroe in depth about my thoughts on the dynamics of it etc :)
