yeah, I had my chapel commitee meeting right after that and Chaplian Rogers was freaking out about your introduction and hes probably going to have to hear mine before its presented...I told him that the day Nancy Henry says something inappropriate, I would eat the creepy little eukalayli (spelling?) in his office...but I thought it was hilarious and well worth it
Yeah Rhett Hixson said Sholl immediately stood up back stage and demanded to know who had just said that and then he and Chappy had a conference and Sholl left to take me out back. He said stuff like "threatening the future of intros" and "chapel decorum" and the usual things they warn us about but honestly it never even crossed my mind twice. I even changed it from "From Gi stuffing his pants for the team picture to the..." to "From Gi stuffing his pants to get that perfect bulge for the team picture to the..." just to make sure people understood. It was a long thought out sentence and i had so many stories to choose from to get to 2 concise ones.
see, that's ridiculous that your slightly risque comment would "threaten the future of intros". that's so mild in comparison to some of the things i hear in class, ocassionally by teachers, on a regular basis. i suppose the argument is that the chapel is a "holy place", but i think it lost that distinction a while ago in most people's minds. they need to realize that the policy of scared straight discipline that they've adopted in the past few years doesn't work on second semester seniors who have been acclimated to it for 4 years now. it's not as if you care about the future of intros, you're outta here in a couple of weeks anyway. i only wish i had realized, as a sophmore or junior instead of a senior, that demerits really arent something to be scared of, and saturday school is actually fun with the right proctor. sholl is intimidating, but that's ridiculous
