Crappy Travel

Last night, getting home, 2 trains came in 'not in service' to Ealing Broadway. When I finally got to Earl's Court, waited there like a plum for at least 20 minutes whilst 3 trains came in going back to E.B. and 2 were destined for Olympia! Platform chocka by time my train came in but I managed to get a seat. Thank god! I was so tired and annoyed that standing would have been the last straw. Then had 10 minute wait for the train which included some stroppy cow deliberately smashing into my shoulder - if the platform had been busy then maybe I would have forgiven it, but she made a point of walking into me who was just standing there, tucked out of the way. Bitch. Finally got home about 12:30am and I hadn't even stopped for a drink or anything! THEN I had to go to my parents' to get the key and a couple of notes for Bramley. Birds had shat all over my car. I had been planning to stay the night but my sister is down (for her own benefit of course - doing interviews, not to take me out for my birthday or coming to the panto or see my parents) so it was just too much hassle to fight her for the room so I then went home again.

As I was up at 6am today to drive in, it's not good. Plus of course it is pitch black and pissing with rain. Much standing water on the roads and still people driving like complete idiots. Including a bloody bus as I got into Guildford and that dumb roundabout with the bus lane that then stops being a bus lane one car length before the traffic lights. Aaargh. Hope I get back without mishap.
