don't you think it's all so very sad? life? our relationships with other people? .... us?
people are so very contradictory. we want love. we want others to accept us. we want someone to know us inside out. and we want them to love us despite knowing.... knowing our flaws... knowing how ugly we all are.
but it's a whole different story when it comes to others don't you think? we pretend like we want to be close. we pretend like we want to understand them.... but then we do. and all of a sudden we realize how hard our request is. we realize how hard it is to accept another person's flaws.
the beginning is always beautiful. so happy and innocent.
because the wall is in place. but after watching it for a while.... you'll notice the cracks. and you'll see past the wall.
what's on the other side? nothing anybody wants to see.
but somehow we find ourselves wanting to show what we keep hidden.
