The Emmys are made of Utter Fail.
Shocking, isn't it? :P
Half of my flist is breaking out the heavy artillery becuase Mary McDonnell wasn't nominated and the other half because David Duchovny wasn't.
I don't know if I'm just far too jaded at this point or just had enough experience with the Emmy's Complete And Utter History of Fail in the last decade or so that I'm not even surprised.
This, my friends, is why I have paid no attention to the Emmys or the Oscars (and well, I never did pay much attention to the Grammys) in years. They've become largely meaningless to me becuase they are a popularity contest and not much else.
