Double the fun
Girlie woke up this morning with a lovely case of conjuntivitis in both eyes. She couldn't actually open her eyes, and it was kind of funny. She's such a complainer in the morning that I didn't pay much attention when she said her eyes were sticky but then she stumbled into my room and she wasn't kidding. She must be really good at getting around with her eyes shut. ;) So, dropped Monkey at daycare and got to the doctor asap for the requisite goop to make her better. Had them give me a prescription for Monkey too because Chauncey and I are supposed to go away this weekend and I would rather not have to hear from my parents that we have to come back early. Of course you know I'll be the one to get it.
So I'm here supposedly working from home. Finished the backup of my laptop incase it decides yet again to fuck with my head and implode. I do love my laptop--I'm sadly very very attached, but because it has dropped about 3 times (I'd love to blame the kids, but it's all my klutziness), it's a little spotty sometimes. I'm hoping that once we get upgrades at work I can upgrade the laptop (since I use it to work from home). We'll see...
Right now the Girlie is watching Starblazers at her own request. I'm not complaining. I'll be glad when tomorrow comes and I am off to a lovely ocean front resort for a weekend of peace and quiet. And with luck, no damn conjuntivitis. But right now, I really have to get some work done.
