Tonight I had to euthanize my cat. My mom calls me at work saying she wasn't breathing well, so I get off early to come home. She was an old cat probably 16+ years. We had to take her to Kalamazoo cause there isn't shit in battle creek this late at night. They did some tests, my cat had an immune deficiency which her body was attacking itself, this created blood clots in her throat, which made it hard for her to breathe. They offered treatment, but for such an elderly cat the outlook would of only been a few weeks at most. She lived a long fulfilled life, so I had to let her go than to let her suffer. She will be missed.
