The Tree That Owns Itself is a white oak tree, widely assumed to have legal ownership of itself and of all land within eight feet (2.4 m) of its base. I didn't reply to this at first because I didn't really know what to say. I've been having a bunch of health problems and the doctors down here are kind of crap. Because of that, my schooling has kind of suffered. Besides that dowwwnnner stuff, I'm doing pretty great. I just got a job at William-Sonoma teaching cooking technique classes, which is pretty fun. It's only two days/week though (laaame). My boyfriend, Charles, is wonderful. I guess I haven't written a lot about him because there's nothing to say that isn't dripping with sugar and cum and everything nice. New Orleans is fantastic. Have you ever heard about how in some books and plays etc. that a location is tantamount to a character. Like New York in the show Sex and the City. New Orleans is basically like that. Such a strong presence in my life that it's now evolved from setting to full-on character. The restaurants here are out-of-this-world. Come visit your homeland sometime! And let me know what's been going on with you... I haven't been keeping up with LJ.

Hugs!Ariel
