the ever loving lulu of all times...
So the odd couple. Funny cast+funny writing= much fun and a successful show. It was so nice to be in school today and have people I've never talked to come up to me in the hallway and say "good job in the show last night. you made me laugh so much". And I loved every second of it suckahhhhs.
Thursday night's show went pretty well. A few pages skipped in act 1, and a few other flaws that occured after that, but it was still a good show. Even though the audience was small, they were really responsive and that was awesome.
Tonight's show went really well. I didn't feel great when i got to school, but after a while I got into it. Only like 2 or 3 things went wrong in tonight's show. Bigger audience, more laughs, unfortunately rarely on my lines haha.
After the show, I went to ed's. For the 1/2 of a cast party. We had some missing kids, but it was still fun. We talked about school stuff, musical stuff, and we watched mean girls. Awesome.
My after school schedule will seem so empty now. It's kinda bittersweet because I don't have to go to practice everyday and re-do scenes over and over and get yelled at, but at the same time I'm gonna miss the cast...really: because without you "all i have is the shirt on my back" haha..you had to be there. Minnesota will NEVER forgive us.
So to the cast of the odd couple: lucy, krissy, smitty, kevin, ed, katie, and liz: thanks for making my day everyday. I can honestly say that it's been a pleasure getting to know you all and getting to know some of you better, and as ironic as this is, drama was hysterical this year. I could go through all of the inside jokes which we spent so much time laughing about, but I'd probably bore you. So here's to the longest entry ever, and to my cast: cheers kids.
