12 REASONS WHY...
Remember me talking about doing a non-johnnys actor picspam? Well, yeah. Here it is.
In case you're wondering why on earth actors like Hiro, Takeru, Haruma, Tamaki etc aren't on this list the reason is this. There are SO many occasions where i've watched a jdrama and fallen in love/lust with a side character who isn't the male lead but just completely takes the story (and my heart). Usually, these guys are older than me and i've probably seen them in 100 other things where i fell in love with there as well. Also, crucially, they're not Johnnys. So that doesn't mean they get to star in dramas due to their looks talent. They work hard and each time we see them, they're different. But hot. Always hot. If you think i've missed anyone out then by all means, let me know!
And random but when looking at the dramas these guys have done, see how many of them they've done together. It's a CRAZY amount. It's almost incestuous-like. XDX/
Tanihara Shosuke

I didn't manage to watch Gokusen 2. Why punish myself? But if i did, i'd probably watch it for Tanihara Shosuke. Why? 'Cos he's tall, hot and got some sort of Japanese floppy haired Hugh Grant thing going on so well. Also he can do sarky but sexy in stuff like Mop Girl and then weird and scary (and getting mauled by Kimura) in Pride.
Sawamura Ikki

Don't know why Ikki is hot? I suggest you watch last month's SmaSma with him as a guest (alongside that bright yellow haired man/woman you see on jtv a lot) and behold the smoking hotness! He was the original Yankumi crush and you can totally see why. Plus he's married with kids and has killer dimples.
Takaoka Sousuke

Plus he's seems like a big brother that you'd want to smex up have with all his mothering of the ROOKIES cast. Aww...

A staple of (most of) Kudokan's dramas Takashi is one of those guys who's can go from being a total sex god (Stand Up!!) to the sexiest geek ever (Tokkyu). Another one who can rock the blond look, he's off being a dad (aww...) thus depriving us of his dimpley self.

Or just watch him be a totally cute idiot in everything else, except Bambino where he pwns MatsuJun like whoa.

He was the sexiest host in Yaoh (sorry Mabo), the sexiest gay guy (KATAGOSHI WINS FOR THIS), and probably the sexiest fireman (Yeah, i didn't get round to watching RESCUE sorry). He's so good they've got him in two dramas in the upcoming season. Most likely as the sexiest whatever i bet.

Ok, so you might be thinking looks-wise Sasaki doesn't have the edge on the others i've picked. Well that's where you're wrong. You watch Zettai Kareshi and tell me you can't see the hot scientist who has chemistry with everyone. Including robot!Moco. Sasaki also does the stiff but sexy (not in THAT way!) in Monster Parent to arty and sexy in Shikaotoko. He's one of those damn actors that can make you pretty much ship with anyone or anything. And i do frequently.
Mukai Osamu

Osamu has been working on a drama for the past... SEVEN seasons which is crazy mad but then you look at him and it's no wonder. The only reason i carried on watching Seigi was 'cos i found him to be so adorable yet so clueless when it came to Yamada Yu's character lol. He's also smoking as evil Shinobu in Mei-chan, although the white hair was a bit... off. Still. He rocked the white butler suit.

Of the actors listed, Kassy's probably done some of the least work but i love pretty much everything he has done. I finished Hachimitsu because of him alone (and ok, TOMA but still) and managed to ignore the WTFery of the end of Celeb to just drool over him. If you want to watch him being utter cute then i'd say Big Wing. Just.... gah. Also, i don't care what anyone else says but Kassy has like THE BEST SEX VOICE EVER. MAKE MORE DRAMAS DAMN YOU!

Tamayama is HOT. And that's pretty much all you need to know. I sort of got through most of Ushi ni because of him and his white shirts of glory. I NEED to watch Dare Yorimo 'cos of the gay fantasticness and gah. The stubble. The hair. THE POTENT SEXINESS. It all works. Also, he looks good with older women. Just sayin'.

While i'm quite meh towards Gokusen 2, i'm just as happy to say i quite loved Gokusen 1. Hiroki was 1/4 of the reason why (guess who the others were...). Loved him even more in Stand Up!! (TOTAL PERVERT ALERT - lol that rhymed!), and from the sound of things, should feel really sorry for him after Innocent Love. When i think of Hiroki the word bouncy just comes to mind. I'll let you imagine that yourselves... XP
In other news, i am kinda sad the mods pulled down that crazy fanwar post at hydkorea. Man that show is great at pulling in the fanwank (which i adore lol).
