I'm also one of these kinda hardcore fangirlies! Look at my last few entries, mostly about how crazy Eito(especially Ryuhei) is. But I take off the 10% since I care to inform myself about the JE bands as much as possible before rambling away on my LJ, even KT!!! ;D

LOL, as the um 'maker'? of this meme it's ok to have your own opinions. Ok, so i'm probably not the biggest NewS/Kattun fan but i'm probably more open to other people who are. And you know, it's like a joke for the older guys to be hitting on (not in the sexual sense) the younger troops...

And as to the '90's sempai' tag well i'll admit to not knowing much about the older groups but having said that, i haven't ruled that out at all with the Higashi question. Plus why make myself to be an idiot when i'm not as clued up as others?

Hey I'm not the biggest NEWS/KT fan either, quite not, and I'm friends with many of their not-psychotic fans, and making fun of Johnnys is half of the reason to like them. After all, this is fandom, and even in RL one shouldn't take things too seriously.

You know JE started in 64 so calling the 90s generation the "senpais" is kinda ludicrous... Even dearest Higashi debuted in 1985 which is still over 20 years later than the start. Though yes I count him as senpai. Actually, I count anything pre-SMAP senpai. That's maybe only my definition but it's rather widespread from what I've seen. And there is imo a definite break in what a Johnny is starting with SMAP.
I'm not in any way meaning to be rude but if you don't want to make yourself be an idiot don't go around calling things things. I don't think you're an idiot at all, your entry was one of the few at which I thought "seems like an interesting person" and I'm not trying to suck up to you... I would tell you if I did think that about you =.= *is brutally honest*
So it's not a bad idea in itself but maybe "misleading"? And I don't know but if you're talking 90s I'd count Arashi in because they're definitely still that kinda "old-school" JE like KK, V6, TOKIO. SMAP is a thing to itself. But it's your meme =^__^= So I'm just stating my little opinion ^.~

Just for the record, I like almost all the lovely Johnnys from the very start down to the little Juniors and pretty much all in between. I may not be overly fond of a few individuals or even one or two groups too much but well, no one likes everyone. Maybe I'm just a sucker XD

Hey, maybe you're right in that i misleaded people into thinking about this being a sempai meme but... To me i feel that there's a big difference between the DAIsempai, which is what i classify anyone above SMAP, the sempai (SMAP up to KK and maybe Arashi idk) and then the kouhai. So in a way i HAVEN'T been misleading because most of the stuff i've written about has been SMAP, V6, Tokio and KK specific. Even my banner works right because it involves the latter three. I haven't really put an emphasis on anything pre-SMAP except for that Higashi question and really, that was 'cos it's a dumb/fun question to ask.

So... yeah. Could do better next time but hey! Let's just have some fun! ::uses icon to show this::
