I've promised myself that I'd be more cautious about spending my money! I'm so close to being debt free, but it seems like its taking forever. I haven't even put anything on my cards, except for the MExico vacation. So anyway, I do have a lot in the bank but I find it easier to save when I have a higher amount. Funny huh? So I've quit going to Starbucks and eating out. IF I do need something to eat, I stop by the store and by a cheap bagel or something. So I ended up saving 400-500 bucks last month =) I'm saving money too because of vacations I'll be going in the summer. I think they'd be super fun, but I want to start saving money to buy a house one or perhaps move out! Next year if I am full time, the pay will make such a difference! I won't be paying health insurace and I'll double my income and I won't be obligated to do all these after school programs! Jim keeps telling me I'll be teaching English. That is going to be so scary! I cannot teach grammar for my life. I'm gonna die! I wonder if they'd be teaching a literacy English class since we don't have one. They've kinda created one for me and 6 students this year, but they pay me as a tutor. Anyway, its horrible because I feel like I'm not qualified to teach kids how to read. I just got this kid from Mexico and doesn't speak a word of Enlgish! Of course I have him, but all the kids in there are pretty good at understanding what I'm saying, but they just have trouble reading and writing. This kid on the other hand, doesn't understand anything. I feel bad because he must feel lost all day. He is really smart though and he can decode. I think he will opick it up quick. Also, I have one kid who is kinda his friend and he can translate for me. I guess that is super impressive because he has only been living in the United States for about a year and a half, and did not speak at all! I would've never guessed. Anyway, I'm just killin time before I head over. I have another busy day of Activate today after school. Blah! There were a couple kids who were caught with mini samuri-type knives at our program. Scary.
