(no subject)
So here is something weird and fate-like. A few hours ago it was in the early hours of Friday night and I was half-heartedly writing a paper on menstruation and I decided to take a "break" that involved surfing around on the internet aimlessly. Lately I've been wondering what ever happened to my childhood best friend Amber Story and after a few google attempts, I thought of the bright idea to check out classmates.com. Yeah, so that didn't work either. However, I came across the name Jessy Blazejewski and started having all these crazy flashbacks of us at skating camp together and spending 99.9% of our time in flashy coloured spandex and spying on JJ Waymen. So it ends up that classmates.com is a totally useless site and I google the girl and within like, 10 minutes we're talking on MSN - how great is the internet?? THANK YOU AL GORE! Anyway, ends up that Jessy kept skating until like a year ago, and now she raises snakes. This might seem odd, but for someone who knows her, it seems perfectly suitable. So we're chatting away and I find out she's working on becoming a skating judge, which is something I've always wanted to do. So 10 minutes later she's emailing me applications and I'm looking on ebay for some new skates. To make things even more crazy, Jessy actually went to school here in Guelph the past few years! AND - she has checked out my livejournal before. SO AMBER STORY - IF YOU'RE READING THIS - LEAVE ME A COMMENT. In fact, that goes to anyone who reads this and might not think I care. Then I started thinking - holy shit, I must sound like such a drunk/wreck/loser to anyone who reads this thing and doesn't know me in real life. So yeah. That was all really surreal. And now I continue writing on menstruation.
