I know it's been forever since I posted here, but I'm still alive!

I'm mostly on Tumblr now (I'm @mousedetective there if anyone wants to follow me), but I'm still alive. I figured I might make periodic updates here, and we'll start with my Christmas wishlist!

Hi all! It's been a rough year but me and mine made it through and we're grateful for that. We've had my son living with us for the last year and it's taken some adjusting, but it's been nice (even with the upsets), and I wouldn't have it any other way. However, we may be losing our housing in January (we live in a senior/disabled complex and while my son is disabled he's not on SSI/SSDI yet...once he gets on that then we can add him to the lease but until then we only have until January 1st to stay here). If you are sending something, make sure it will get to me by December 31st.

Anyway, here is my Christmas wishlist:

1 - My mom is trying to raise $2,000 for cataract surgery. Because she had Lasik eye surgery a few years back the procedure is not covered by our insurance. She's the primary driver in the household and this would help a lot. The money would cover the cost of the operations and transportation to the surgeries/follow-up appointments. Our Fundrazr is here.

2 - Amazon wishlist. There's stuff for all three of us (plus one present for the cats) at all different prices, to guarantee it's a gift we like.

3 - Google Play gift cards. My son plays a few games on his phone and I play Design Home religiously so those gift cards would help buy stuff for our games.

4 - Walmart gift cards. This way we can get food and OTC medications, plus clothes.

5 - Warm clothing for the family. We have some sweatpants/sweatshirts, hoodies, pants, and long-sleeved shirts, but anything else would be great. My mom is an 18/XL/9 shoe in women's, I'm a 20/XXL/8 shoe in women's and my son is an XL - 32 x34 - 9 1/2 shoe in men's clothing (he's over six feet tall so if you buy him pants, please get ones for taller people if you can).

6 - Postcards! I ask for this every year and I get amazing postcards from all over.

7 - Dr. Teals Epsom salt bubble bath. I take a lot of baths for my back/joints (I have arthritis in my lower to mid back, a fracture in my mid back, and psoriatic arthritis/fibromyalgia all over) and this brand works wonders. I prefer shea butter/almond oil, coconut oil, or citrus, but almost any of them will do (please, no hemp, eucalyptus, and activated charcoal...I have bad reactions to those).

8 - Matchbox 20 CDs for my mom. She's gotten a CD player and wants stuff from them. We don't mind if they're used or burnt onto a blank CD, she's just a huge fan and wants as much of their stuff as possible (except the song with Santana...she has that on MP3 and I'm putting it on a CD for her).

9 - Car Lego sets for my son. I know there are a few he wants specifically, and I can tell you which ones they are if you're willing to buy this gift for him, but I'm pretty sure he'd be happy with any car lego set.

10 - Anything related to Alice In Wonderland for me. The only things Alice-related I currently own are the 1954 cartoon and the 1986 miniseries. Go wild with this one.
