dressed to death and dressed to digress
I just got the best compliment about my writing and was asked to give advice. That really warms my heart, it does.
I was going to do some writing today but I did laundry instead because I have to go buy a new bike again later tonight (it's my third bike in less than a month...I don't know what I do to them). But I'm going to write Tuesday and Wednesday if I can. It's the one perk of my job right now that my amusement park is closed two days of the week, so I have nothing to do (unless I get called in to do the mock jury on Wednesday, which I'm kind of hoping happens since it's $75 for doing it).
I got some new friends here. ::waves:: Eventually I'm going to finish my list of favorite characters and favorite ships so you guys will know what all I'm into. It's just that I'm kind of waiting to see what new shows I get hooked on and what shows I go back to (I swear, I keep watching CSI: NY re-runs and I'm all "I never thought I'd go back but damn I missed you!"). The new shows I'm planning on watching (so far) are Revolution (when I remember to download it), Grimm (though I want to mainline S1 first and that's on my hard drive which is currently...somewhere not known to me), Elementary (if I can't get Sherlock till next year this will be the next best thing, plus I love Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu) and Made In Jersey (it just looks so cute). I will most likely be going back to CSI: NY and Castle and Bones, and I may download Blue Bloods for watching on Sundays since I have to get up so early to get to work on Saturdays and my boss has forgotten that I'm supposed to work every other Saturday, not every Saturday. I will definitely be going back to Criminal Minds, since even though Prentiss is gone I still love everyone else.
I have missed the last two episodes of Doctor Who, and I'm going to watch them Tuesday. I have them, I just got caught up today in other stuff. I am not ready for next week. No, no I am not. My babies! My precious babies. But I will admit I loved Jenna Louise Coleman in "Asylum of the Daleks" and I can't wait for her to join the cast full time. I'm looking forward to it, which is better than it was when I first got news of the whole thing happening next week. ::sigh:: At least I have all my other shows to comfort the void until Christmas (I even have Sherlock to watch, since I haven't seen any of "Hounds" and only the last half of "Reichenbach"...I'm hoarding them until I absolutely have to watch them). So yeah. I'll be a sad Whovian next week. You all should send me gifts to feel better...like fic prompts. I would love more fic prompts.
