Things to stop doing:
- Expecting people to read my mind and guess how i feel
- Pretending to be strong and ok when i am not
- being silent about the things that have hurt me
- dishonouring my boundaries to 'keep the peace'
- Taking responsibility for things or people that are not my responsibility
- Trying to get people to change, heal and grow who aren't ready to do so
- Excusing unhealthy/hurtful behaviour in others because 'i should be understanding and empathic'
- Staying in relationships that have expired
