Rememberances

It's funny how memories seem to catch up to you. Years go by, you don't think of them that often. And then one day, for no particular reason the memories wash over you like a flood. It could be a girl playing basketball or a flash of absurdly light blonde hair. And I realize they're not truly gone. They never will be. The fact that these memories remain with me tells me that they will live within me and everyone who ever knew them forever.
