We went to
Blue Fin Sushi in Northgate Wednesday night, and I was not impressed.
To elaborate: the sushi buffet was actually really good, and the menu selections overall were great. It was NOT the typical "buffet" experience, with tasty, very fresh food.
Of course, for $27 per person + drinks, it wasn't exactly buffet pricing either. When I sign a tab that's over $70 after tax, tip, and drinks, I don't like the sensation of looking up and seeing paper napkins and plastic drink glasses. For that sort of money, we could either:
A. go to someplace nicer, like
Brasa or
Elemental Next DoorB. go to a comparable meal of sushi someplace else for less than half the cost
Verdict: Blue Fin Sushi is good, but not worth the money. Skip it.
