more EARTHCHANGE news....

well the first good news i have is that my second "Earthchange" movie (3 parts x35 min) has been posted on videogoogle(!) it takes a couple of days to actually be available, so I expect to have some more kewl news coming at ya very soon regarding that movie. [edited to say: something happened it will be up again in a few moreday --4/13/06]

Earthchange II, btw, won an award at EarthVisions, the environmental film festival in Santa Cruz CA. Actually kinda funny, I submitted it thinking it would be completed in time, but it was a work-in-progress when it won(!) Anyway, as you can imagine its a little less frenetic and choppy, and WAY more optimistic about the future... but that will be later this week-- it takes a couple of days to get to get 'verified'.... in the meantime yes, you can see Earthchange I but again same warning as before... while it is way optimistic and full of positive solutions, it's sorta old school: 'us versus them' and pretty full of fear for the coming changes, two things that i noe feel help no one (probably why i spent another two years reworking it after the first few screenings). But it was 1997, and so it's kinda like looking back in time (the crazy thing is that the science tha was 'wild' back then is now accepted, and the technologies mentionned in the movies are still not all on the radar for *most* people....

Feedback: And I just found out how to see the reports on activity of the first video, Earthchange I, and I gotta say I'm impressed. Sure, no one made comments = ( but it seems that *someone* is watching it. I only posted something about it here, and friends only (((ok not at the moments 04/13/06))). And yet, already, there's been 203 page views and 5 full downloads. WOoo HOoo, 203 people have watched it in whole or in part (or... people have watched parts of it 200 times). I'm touched!!! (((edited to add: it's now at 330 people watched it and 15 downloaded! 04/13/06]))) Sure, I'd love feedback, what artist doesn't? but that is in its own way feedback, right?

my movies, movies, climate change
