In my humble opinion, Shiki's face was not showed because is like a symbolism: your appearance is not important when you are with your friends so touching LOL. But yeah, the whole sixth day of her week saying: "I'm ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly... >(" and then we can't see her face, well, we can imagine a little with the half of her face.
