So... next one? :D I'll come around The first night, one day... but not yet This one's funny, makes me giggle. Plus, slang and sexual slang? Would be a challenge for me! (I might be a little less accurate on this one for that reason.)
Ha ha! Do you know a little French? (taught in school, maybe?)
You wanna know the fun part of that? It sounds so much more vulgar in French than in English, at least to me. It's like: "Duo's jerking off" Yup, he's jerking off, mental image, no problem. "Duo se branle" Il se... *cough* *same mental image* yeah, il se branle... #_#
:D Let's not even talk about the 'cock' word
Ok, so, back to business! I'm confused about the "wicker rattan" thing (which I had to search in a dictionary). What I don't understand (forgive me, I'm not wicker proficient ^_-) is that wicker and rattan seem to be two different things. Two different materials, there is no "rattan made with wicker" (which was how I first understood the sentence...). So, uh? Is there? I've search a little about wicker and rattan (ain't you proud? :D) but it seems not. So I wanted to check this with you. For now, I translate it as if the English version was: "was a big fan of wicker AND rattan".
I took French for seven years in school, but unfortunately, I've forgotten it all in lieu of japanese :(
I just did some wicker and rattan research myself, haha. I always just hear it described as "wicker rattan" or "rattan wicker." It turns out, rattan is the name of the palm tree whose fiber is woven into wicker. So the rattan part is the unnecessary part, I guess, because the wicker describes the style of the furniture. I just learned things too :D
