I am so glad you have posted this here so that I can read it RIGHT NOW. I've been refreshing the 1x2 community all freaking day XD
OK, the idea of a wallpaper whose pattern is a bunch of little wailing faces is deliciously creepy.
I cannot guess what it is that Duo is supposed to remember, but I am desperately curious. God, if I were they at this point, I would be like FUCK INDEPENDENCE and totally hold hands the whole time.
T__T Oh, wow, that part where Duo tries to say he loves Heero is amazingly sad and tense. You've set up their relationship really interestingly here, too... without all that much discussion of it, you've given at least me the feeling that, although they are together, there are still some serious walls between them and they're still hesitant about a lot of things in their relationship. Which is a great way to go into this kind of horrible situation :D
...neither of them reacting when the door behind them inevitably slammed shut... It's amusing in a horrible sort of way that they're getting so used to this

Haha yeah. Happy ending = they are alive, LOL. Although the "good" endings in SH games always involve the main character strolling on out of the town anyway.
Dude, I am so glad you like, got what I was going for with this fic. Like, exactly what I was going for with each scene. That is awesome :-D
I am so happy you liked it :-D Maaaaaybe enough to write than SH fic so I can read it?? :P
If I got what you intended out of the story, that means you wrote it properly :D I linked my friend to it so she can read the rest of it too, and I bet she will also adore it ^___^!!
As for SH fic... I will work on that tonight just for you, because you have entertained me so well and reminded me of how much I love Silent Hill. I should really be able to finish it... even the ending is done; it's just a few paragraphs in the middle that I haven't written...
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK. I have finished this story. I'm not sure that I like it all that much, but that's pretty typical of something I wrote most of several years ago and then didn't really work on forever and finished up today. At any rate, if you are indeed interested in reading it, here it be.
First off: Thank you!!! Your comments just made my day :-D I am so glad you enjoyed it.
This story is actually pretty similar to Event Horizon isn't it T_T Haha. I'd say the 2nd biggest influence on writing this after Silent Hill was probably The Thing, which also makes use of claustrophia and the idea of being trapped in a remote place, with no escape. I would guess that the fate of the Persephone's original crew probably resembled something like Event Horizon o_O
It's funny, but I guess I do have issues with the idea of forgiveness. Asking for forgiveness from people is inherently a selfish act, because who does it benefit? You're asking someone you've wronged to basically get over their problems with what you did to them because you want to feel better. Sometimes, you need to just accept that you did something wrong, that it had consequences, and that you don't get to have the catharsis of being forgiven
