LOL! We have the digital clock in the bedroom as well, but I never thought to tape over the other numbers to avoid confusion. Good idea. The problem there is that Diva and Babygirl share a bedroom. Bunkbeds right above my head, specifically. So even if Diva stays in her room, she inevitably wakes up Babygirl and then there is much thumping and bumping, enough to bring out the Mommy Dearest in me. In the new house, there will be no child sleeping above me. Period. Still, I too look forward to teen years and happily driving them nuts pulling them out of bed at what they consider ungodly hours. *cackles at the thought*
Sheer quantity. Two very descriptive words. Mass chaos also works well. It's awesome to be loved, but sometimes overwhelming when you're loved by a horde of children that might scare Ghengis Khan away. ;)
Man, I don't envy you flying, as much as I'm dreading this trip. At least we can travel at our own pace not be subject to whims of airport schedules and security. *shudders*
And thanks for the hugs, love. It's terribly nice to know I'm not completely off my rocker and there are people who actually understand in literal terms.
